A 23-year-old New Jersey man has been charged in the sexual assault of a young juvenile.
Seeun Jang, of Ridgefield, was arrested on Monday. He is charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release.
Last Monday, the victim reported being sexually assaulted multiple times in the past in the borough of Ridgefield. Investigators have since alleged that Jang is the person responsible for the assaults.
At the time of the abuse, the victim was under the age of 16, authorities said.
Jang is in custody at Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing.
