"Archie B. Bear"
is an ambitious bear that was looking for honey and "hit the jack pot".
This is a Honey Bee Bear Club figurine # 11BB3c.
It was made in the period of 1996/97. The figurine stands about 4" tall and about 3 1/4" wide. I believe it is made of resin. It features, Archie B. Bear, a brown bear who has fortunately found a large bee hive.  He has climbed on it to reach the oozing honey.  He is overjoyed and overwhelmed.  He obviously hit the "jack pot" as the tree is over flowing with the honey and some local bees are not happy.  Archie has two bright beady eyes and a black heart shaped nose and his mouth is outlined with black.  He is hanging on for "dear live".  He is wearing green trousers with a yellow rope belt holding them up. He has a light blue short sleeved shirt.  There are two honey bees buzzing around the hive and one near the bee's entrance, near the bottom of the hive and another near the top.  The yellow hive is beautiful.  It has multiple layers affixed like a rope wound--up.  There is a beautiful, large sunflower growing near the front of the hive.  It has a brown center and pretty green leaves, too.  The hive is free standing and very sturdy.  It weighs almost 14 ounces, with all that spilt honey oozing out the top.  On the bottom it reads:  "1996-1997, Honey Bee Bears"...For Club Members Only...followed by the name "Archie B. Bear".  Then, the artist's name:  "Rosie Wells", Rosie Wells Enterprises, Inc "... Made in China.
The condition is MINT
with its original box.  It has never even been displayed and my home is a smoke free home, too.
Archie B. Bear is rare
as not only is it a member's only piece, but, the business has been out of business since 1985.  Too bad as their bears are just as cute as the other name brands, like Boyd's, etc.  In conclusion, Archie B.
