    Description

    An Ainu brown bear Japanese wood carving that measures 13" long by 7.5" high by 7.25" wide. Holding a freshly caught fighting salmon in its mouth, it is wandering the forest for a quiet place to enjoy its feast. Beautiful carving accentuates the flowing fur of this animal.  In very good condition with minor surface cracks that naturally occurred over its long life.  Age is from the 1960's.
